2009 Domaine des Caves du Prieure Sancerre
"Bright pale green color. Explosive aromas of green apple, wet stone minerality. Bright and apple/pear fruit on entry but it's the great deep green apple kernel of concentration that sets this wine apart. The hail may have killed Guillerault's yields, but it sure did wonders to amp up the richness of this benchmark Sancerre. Drink now-2015."
