2009 Benoni Chardonnay "Petits Grains" Sonoma Coast
"Bright, pale green color. Intense, wound up mineral aromas of green apple, wet stone, lightly laced with new wood. Firm and fruity on the attack, it's the deep mineral fruit kernel that tells the story of the tight, irregular clusters, the high elevation and Monsieur X's deft hand with Chardonnay.
