"This wine has a huge plummy nose with some cherry, leather, tobacco, and a touch of menthol. The flavor profile is distinct with tons of sweet, tasty plums and rich velvety leather. This was a "wow" wine for me which is hitting its stride right now. The immense tannin presence suggests another 15 years of life, yet the wine is totally approachable right now and you won't be sorry you opened it. The finish lasts for at least 45 seconds.
